Hershey Cubs Hockey Team Welcomes New Training Facility

HERSHEY, Pa. — The Hershey Cubs USPHL hockey team is set to enhance their training regimen with a newly installed gym, thanks to a partnership with National Fitness Partners. This development has generated excitement among the players.

“This is huge. We never had anything like this before,” said Cubs right-wing Tallen Forrey. “As young players, we always had to go elsewhere for training and workouts. Now we get to do it in the rink, which feels like home.”

The state-of-the-art gym has been installed on the team’s premises, providing a convenient location for both in-season and off-season training. Additionally, the Cubs have welcomed a new personal trainer, Tony Fernandez, who is eager to start working with the team.

“We’re able to have the gym in the locker room and in the rink. This saves time as players no longer need to travel and rush back,” Fernandez explained. “They can come in here, recover, and then go to the ice.”

Stephen Kindler Jr., President of National Fitness Partners, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with the Cubs. “It was a no-brainer to work with the Cubs. Central Pennsylvania is known for its great hockey teams and players, and we wanted to contribute to developing the next generation,” said Kindler. “We both want what’s best for the community and for the kids. Ultimately, we aim to deliver a quality product on the ice and bring something new to south-central Pennsylvania.”

This new partnership is expected to support the growth of the Cubs program and help develop their athletes to compete with the best in the league.
