L’Oréal Group has announced the appointment of Damien Favre as President of its Dermatological Beauty Division (LDB) for the North America Zone. This move follows Favre’s successful leadership of the Consumer Products Division (CPD) in L’Oréal’s Latin America Zone, where he achieved significant growth and positioned the division as the company’s fastest-growing region.
Favre’s tenure in Latin America was marked by remarkable achievements, including more than doubling net sales, solidifying his reputation for driving business expansion and navigating complex market dynamics. L’Oréal has lauded his ability to build brands and foster high-performance cultures, which have made him an ideal choice to lead LDB in North America.
“Damien Favre’s impressive track record of driving growth, building brands, navigating complex market dynamics, and fostering a culture of high performance make him ideally positioned to lead L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty in North America as the Division continues to evolve,” said David Greenberg, CEO of L’Oréal USA and President of the North America Zone. “His dedication to driving innovation will undoubtedly help the Division continue to deliver the dermatological solutions that consumers need.”
Favre’s career at L’Oréal began in 2005 with the L’Oréal Paris marketing team in France. Over the past two decades, he has held leadership roles in several key divisions, including as Marketing Director for Garnier in Western Europe, General Manager for Garnier in Italy, and General Manager of CPD in Argentina. His strategic leadership has significantly elevated L’Oréal’s market position and contributed to the company’s strong performance in both skincare and haircare.
