The Pakistan Army emerged as the champion in the third edition of the Fitness Challenge Pakistan, claiming the top position with a remarkable performance. The Army’s athletes secured 16 gold and six silver medals at the competition, held at the Arena Hall in Qayyum Stadium, Peshawar. The event was organized by the Pakistan Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (PBBF) and adhered to the standards set by the International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation (IFBB).
Olympian Sadaf Siddiqui and Havaldar Maqbool Ahmad were key figures in the Army’s victory, each securing three gold medals in various events. Siddiqui, competing in the masters’ category, triumphed in the singles, mixed doubles, and team fitness events. Ahmad, an internationally recognized fitness competitor, claimed gold in the men’s doubles, mixed doubles, and team fitness categories.
The two-day competition saw teams from various organizations, including the Pakistan Army, Police, Railways, Higher Education Commission (HEC), Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Sindh, and Islamabad, participating in a series of rigorous events. KP finished as the runner-up with two gold and five silver medals, while the Police team secured third place with two gold and one silver medal.
The successful conclusion of the event marks a significant achievement for the Pakistan Army, reaffirming its dominance in the national fitness and bodybuilding circuit.
