A beauty clinic operating without a license in Phnom Penh has been closed down by authorities in response to reports of a woman sustaining serious injuries while undergoing a procedure at the establishment.
Following the emergence of social media reports detailing the injuries, officials took swift action and conducted an operation at the S88 Beauty beauty salon, located at #110E0 along Street 53, Sangkat Phsar Thmei 3, Khan Daun Penh.
The incident involved the wife of a well-known entertainer, who is currently undergoing treatment at Calmette hospital due to the ordeal she experienced at the clinic. The entertainer took to social media to share the troubling incident, stating, “My wife was in the emergency room at the ICU for 2 days and after she hung up the serum at S88 Beauty on Wednesday 2 at 1 pm.”
While the specific details of the procedure remain unconfirmed, it is believed that the woman was undergoing skin whitening treatment at the time.
