The Statesboro YMCA will officially introduce EGYM, an innovative fitness technology, at noon on Monday, March 3. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will mark the unveiling of this advanced fitness system, which personalizes workouts for individuals of all fitness levels.
Located at 409 Clairborne Avenue, the Statesboro YMCA will become the ninth branch in the YMCA of Coastal Georgia association to feature EGYM. The regional YMCA network is the only fitness organization in the area to offer the cutting-edge technology.
EGYM combines intelligent workout equipment with digital integration to provide efficient, customized fitness experiences. Designed for individuals of all ages and abilities, it aims to make exercise more accessible and impactful.
“This technology is a game-changer for our community,” said Mary Arocha, Senior Vice President of Healthy Living for the YMCA of Coastal Georgia. “EGYM’s personalized approach ensures that everyone, regardless of their fitness level, can enjoy a supportive and innovative workout experience.”
Hannah Beggs, Executive Director of the Statesboro Family YMCA, expressed excitement about the initiative: “We are thrilled to contribute to this regional effort to bring innovative health and fitness solutions to our members. The introduction of EGYM underscores our commitment to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.”
The Statesboro YMCA’s integration of EGYM represents a significant step forward in enhancing local fitness offerings, reinforcing the organization’s mission to support the health and well-being of the community.
