Actress Deepika Padukone has expressed her sincere gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his continued efforts to prioritize the mental health of students in India.
Padukone, a staunch advocate for mental health awareness, took to social media to commend the Prime Minister for addressing the issue during the eighth edition of the annual event “Pariksha Pe Charcha.” The event, hosted by PM Modi, brings students together to discuss crucial topics related to education, stress, and examinations, with a renewed focus this year on mental well-being.
The 39-year-old actress shared a video on Instagram, where she highlighted the importance of mental health discussions, particularly within the context of education. “’Pariksha Pe Charcha’ is back with its 8th edition! In the promo video, Padukone engages with students, addressing questions about ways to improve mental health. She advised them to always express their feelings openly, whether with family or friends, and never suppress their emotions.

Prime Minister Modi launched the eighth edition of “Pariksha Pe Charcha” on Monday in Delhi. During the inaugural episode, he interacted with students at Sunder Nursery in the capital, discussing methods to manage exam stress. The second episode, set to air on February 12, will feature Padukone, where she will engage in a candid discussion on mental health and well-being, sharing her personal experiences and offering insights to students.
