A disturbing incident unfolded at Fitness Intelligence Gym in Mumbai’s Mulund East, captured on CCTV, where a gym trainer attacked a member with a traditional Indian exercise tool known as a mugdar. The victim, identified as Vilas Shinde, sustained serious injuries, including two fractures on his skull, prompting a hospital visit and an MRI scan.
The attack, which occurred on Wednesday evening at 6 PM, allegedly stemmed from an altercation sparked by a joke aimed at the gym trainer, identified as Dhawal. In response, Dhawal wielded the heavy mugdar, typically used for resistance training, striking Shinde on the head unexpectedly.
The Mulund police swiftly responded to the incident, registering a complaint and apprehending Dhawal. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities scrutinizing the CCTV footage to ascertain the exact circumstances leading to the attack.
