In a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kylie Jenner, 26, addressed the ongoing criticism about her appearance and alleged plastic surgery, as reported by Page Six.
“It’s like a miracle that I still have confidence and I can still look in the mirror and think that I am pretty,” Kylie confessed to her sister Kendall Jenner. She recounted her experience at Paris Fashion Week, where she chose to wear minimal makeup for the first time, only to face further criticism.
“I’m wearing too much makeup and it’s like, ‘You’re wearing too much makeup.’ Then I go and I don’t wear a lot of makeup and someone catches me in a weird light,” she lamented. Despite her efforts for a natural look, the trolling persisted.
Reflecting on the relentless negativity, Kylie noted in a confessional, “I just hear nasty things about myself all the time… it just gets exhausting.” Kendall added that their family often faces dehumanization, with critics disregarding their feelings.
Kylie revealed her recent decision to dissolve half of her lip filler, expressing frustration over the constant scrutiny. She became emotional, admitting, “I’ve never cried about this before but I guess it does affect me,” likening the conversation to therapy.
While many comments were hurtful, Kendall reassured her sister, saying, “You’ve never looked younger and you’ve never looked better.” Kylie acknowledged the difficulty of combating public perceptions but emphasized her resilience. “I always keep it pushing… I have sh*t to do. Rise above.”
